School Opening 4th January

Happy New Year to all our families and friends! We hope you have enjoyed a restful Christmas break and are now looking forward to getting back into school next week.

Following the government announcement earlier this week, Maun will be opening as planned on Monday 4th January to all children.

Parents and carers have been amazing in their support to the school so far and we would kindly ask that this continues.  Please remember:

  • all adults and children aged 12 or above should wear a mask whilst on school site
  • only one adult per family should attend school site
  • all families should socially distance from each other and from school staff, remembering to keep children with you at all times
  • please arrive within your allocated drop-off/pick-up slot and avoid being early or late (see overview below with a reminder of times)

Please also be reminded that eligible families can form a support and/or childcare bubble with one other household.  Children should only be dropped off and picked up only by the adults from the household within which they live, or those from a support/childcare bubble.  Where you have formed a support or childcare bubble with another household, please let your child's class teacher know.

Please note that we will not allow children to be collected by people outside of the permitted bubble arrangements as outlined in the government guidelines which you can find here: Childcare Bubbles and Support Bubbles.

We're looking forward to seeing you all on Monday - please remind children to bring their smiles!

Kind regards,

Miss Norman
