Head Teacher’s Welcome

It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to Maun Infant and Nursery School, where we serve the local community, teaching children aged 3-7 years.  As an infant and nursery school, we believe in providing the best possible start for all our pupils on their journey as life-long learners.  Our dedicated team works hard to make sure our school is a safe place, where our nurturing approach coupled with learning opportunities rooted in real experiences, all help our children to thrive.

Our school logo states that Maun is a place ‘where the sun shines every day’.  Although this may not literally be the case, we do pride ourselves on our ‘sunny’, friendly and caring atmosphere, into which we welcome children, their parents and carers.

We make good links within the community, working closely with our junior school, Forest View, along with other local schools and Governors in our commitment to teaching and learning.
